You bring joy back into someone's life by simply writing a letter once a week.
BMOW's Adopt a Grandparent matches volunteers with a local homebound senior for a pen pal program. Each of these seniors live alone and typically have no family in the area. Because they cannot get out of the house easily, they are often cut off from friends and the everyday activities of life. Your efforts to become their friend and brighten their day by sharing your thoughts and life make a tremendous impact in their lives.
